Q. What do you use for data security
A. The information you provide including credit card information is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. We use this SSL technology to prevent such information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet. The encrypted data goes to a secure site where your information is stored on restricted-access computers located at restricted-access sites. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time My Costume Wigs asks for a credit card number during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted. The information you provide will be stored securely on our servers.

Q. What do you do with my email address?
A. When visitors or customers send email inquiries to My Costume Wigs, the return email address is used to answer the email inquiry we receive. My Costume Wigs does not use the return email address for any other purpose and does not share the return email address with any third party.

Q. What do you do with my mailing address?
A. We do not give out your address information to any third party after you checkout. My Costume Wigs may send you email or post mail flyers to alert you to upcoming promotions and coupon discounts. If you would prefer not to receive such notices from us, please inform us via an email sent to info@mycostumewigs.com.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Returns and exchanges are available ONLY for un-opened, unworn wigs in their original condition and packaging with all tags attached.

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your wig, we do accept returns and exchanges WITHIN 10 DAYS of receipt for UNUSED wigs in saleable condition with tags attached and original packaging intact.

Here are the 3 steps you must take to return or exchange your wig:

1. REQUEST AUTHORIZATION Complete enclosed Return Authorization form. You must include your first and last name, order number and credit card information (we do not keep that information on file.) Returns received without authorization form and/or after 10 business days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. No refunds after 45 days from date of purchase.

2. SHIP THE PACKAGE - Follow the mailing instructions on the RA form. All wigs must be in a new, unused, resalable form. Include all packaging materials, including hair net if applicable. Please include packing slip with your wig.

3. EXPECT THE REFUND - After we receive your returned wig and have inspected the package, you will be refunded for the price of the returned wig, minus all shipping costs, via your original method of payment (please include credit card information on your form). It will take approximately 6-10 business days for the funds to reach your account.

Returns of wigs showing signs of wear, or without original tags and packaging (including nets, if applicable) will not be honored.

NOTE: The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to the return or exchange. My Costume Wigs is not responsible for items lost in transit during the exchange or return process. Collect shipments will be refused.

Shipping charges related to the original order will NOT be refunded.
